Since childhood, Helga has had a passion for science, especially mathematics and biology. This inspired her to study molecular bionics engineering at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, after which she obtained an MSc in Info-bionics Engineering. She wrote her MSc thesis based on her research in Oxford, building the prototype of a needle-free insulin pump. Afterwards, she continued her studies at the University of Notre Dame in the United States, where she mastered the fundamentals of entrepreneurship – knowledge she put into practice at a company she co-founded.
In addition, she is raising three children, pursuing a Ph.D. in the sociology of education, and working as a solution-focused coach. At Pázmány Péter Catholic University, she teaches the Startup Innovation course.
In her free time, she enjoys running and long-distance hiking. She is also a dedicated Star Trek fan and has a deep affection for the fantasy genre, particularly the world of Tolkien.
